Acta Metrologica Sinica is an academic journal sponsored by Chinese Society for Measurement. It was issued in 1980. The purpose of the journal is to report the latest research achievements and progress in metrology and precision measurement technology. The journal reflects the highest academic level of metrology and precision measurement in China and has great influence in the field. It was rated as a chinese core journal and chinese science and technology core journal. The journal is currently monthly published with 16k page.

 It has won the honorary titles of "First Excellent Academic Journal", "National Excellent Scientific and Technological Journal", "Excellent Scientific and Technological Journal", etc. of China Association for Science and Technology.  

The papers published in the journal involve fundamental research in measurement science, as well as research on measurement technology frontiers, measurement theory, measurement techniques, and standard dissemination and methods for traceability.
