Abstract  A design of a double channels telescope system for space laser communications synthetic parameter test is proposed. The long focal channel can be used for far field distribution measurement of the terminals and afocal channel can be used for the measurement of tracking and pointing accuracy. The principle of the measurement of the far field distribution, tracking and pointing accuracy of space laser communication is analyzed.A double channels telescope system was designed which could construct off-axis Cassegrain system or of-axis three-mirror afocal system, respectively. The working spectral range of the system is 800~1 700 nm and the clear aperture size is 300mm. The performances of the system were tested. The test result demonstrates that the wavefront error of long focal channel is 0.097λ(λ=632.8 nm),and the wavefront error of afocal channel is 0.048λ which both meet the design requirements.
