Abstract Through the analysis of the mechanism and measuring method of system time of valve in pVTt gas flow facility, the simplified algorithm is derived to calculate the time difference of the valve open/close process. The relationship between the factors of time difference of the valve open/close process and valve structure, sonic nozzle flow are also analyzed, and the impact of additional mass correction on time difference of the valve open/close process is obtained.
