Dynamic Characteristics and Dynamic Compensation of Strain Gauge Force Transducer |

Abstract The dynamic characteristics of various strain gauge force transducers are researched according to the measurement of natural frequencies and impulse responses. When a force transducer’s dynamic characteristics are not good enough, a digital filter based on pole-zero placement is designed to improve their dynamic characteristics.Experimental results show that the dynamic characteristic of the cylindrical force transducer is better than that of S-shaped force transducer when measuring dynamic force, dynamic compensation can improve the S-shaped force transducer’s dynamic characteristics and reduce dynamic error.
