Study and Establishment of Standard Measurement Facility of Effective Luminous Intensity of Flashing Light Source |

Abstract The standard measurement facility of effective luminous intensity traceable to the national illuminance working standard was established. The facility consists of the flashing light source, neutral filter, photometric detector, waveform sampling and processing unit. The facility can be used to calibrate related measuring instrument, paving the way for solving the problem of dissemination and traceability of the effective luminous intensity of flashing light source. Tested examples of Xe and LED flashing lights are analyzed. The rising edge of the LED flashing light is steep, with good stability, which can be further optimized to be used as standard light of effective luminous intensity. The factors influencing the experiment were analyzed, and an uncertainty level of 2.4% (k=2) is obtained for the measurement facility.
