Abstract The surface temperature of casting slab is a virtual parameter in metallurgy field.So, based on reflector-preceded and multi-wavelength,a method to dealing with the difficulty in surface temperature measurement of casting slab is put forward.On the premise of reflector-preceded and non reflector-receded, the method establishes the radiation energy equations, works out the emissivity and temperature in the equations.As well,the multilayer modeling of casting billet surface and multiple reflection-absorption process modeling by Monte-Carlo method are built.Finally, the ansysis result of the models shows that the method can measure the casting billet surface temperature accurately.
