Abstract  According to the research status and application requirements for energy measurement, the reference calorimeter of natural gas is studied.The calorific value of high-purity methane is determined by the oxygen bomb calorimeter, an adiabatic oxygen bomb calorimeter calibrated by the CRM of benzoic, which calorific value of the benzoic CRM traces to SI unit via the national standard.The device sample collect and equilibrium designed by NIM is described.The superior calorific value of methane is 39 900 J/m3 with an expanded rative uncertainty of (the expanded factor,0.6% k=2).
