Abstract The design and development technique of a WR-15 microcalorimeter based on a thermistor mount is presented. The microcalorimeter is designed as twn-line structure which can lower the influnece from the laboratory temperature floating. The basic principle of the measurement is presented too. The microcalorimeter will be national primary standard of WR-15 (50~75 GHz) millimeter-wave power. It enhanced China RF power measurement capability up to 75 GHz.
