Application of Multi-line Function Method in Curve Fitting

Abstract  In order to study the development trend of some phenomena, all kinds of curve fitting methods are needed, such as the polynomial trend model, the logarithm trend model, and so on. Based on the principle of multi surface function method, presents a multi linear function method, which is applied to the curve fitting. In order to verify the feasibility of the method, in the MATLAB platform development program on a railway line was calculated with polynomial fitting method under different conditions of experiment, proved the multivline function method has high accuracy, simple calculation and other advantages, is an excellent method of curve fitting.
