High Efficiency Measurement Method for Large-size Aeroengine Blade Profile |

Abstract A high efficiency surface measurement method based on coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is introduced. Based on the traditional large-size blade surface measurement method, a partition scanning method at variable speed of curvature adaptive was proposed. The optimized scan path can effectively solve the frequent probe replacement problem. To analyze the blade geometrical parameters, an over-scanning strategy was studied. The collected data were filtered by advanced programming and the complete blade profile closed curve was obtained by mathematical stitching. 40% of the measurement efficiency can be improved by this large-size blade measurement method, and it can ensure the measurement accuracy and completing the blade profile curve in the meanwhile.
