Abstract  The power measurement is taken for example to evaluate the measurement result with classical error theory and GUM.The relation of measurement uncertainty to error theory is indicated —measurement uncertainty evaluation takes the place of the handling of random error and uncertain systematic error in classical error theory, this becomes a section of error theory, and is the development and improvement of the concerning part of error theory. This will lead to reasonable and unified in evaluation methods and means of expression.
