Research on Network Traffic Transmission Principle and Measurement Technology |

Abstract With the booming of the information consumer market, it is urgent to provide measurement technical support for the measurement of network traffic and broadband speed due to the traffic-based billing model. Bit is the basic measurement unit for network traffic and broadband speed, and as a new measurement, related research is rare. Through in-depth exploration of the existence form and transmission mode of bit, we have a better understanding of its static and dynamic characteristics, so as to lay the foundation for establishing a bit measuring standard that can be traced to National primary pulse standard by comparing the analog channel and the digital channel of a high-precision oscilloscope. The study of bit measurement also triggered relevant thinking about international measurement units and measurement trends, and finally discussed this.
