Design of Single-phase Electricity Meter with Clock Maintenance-free and Firmware Upgrade Easily

Abstract  Aiming at the problem of large clock deviation of single-phase electricity meter in field operation and the need of promoting new business, a new kind of single-phase electricity meter with clock maintenance-free and firmware upgrade easily was proposed. Through the use of wireless clock synchronization technology to achieve automatic clock synchronization update, the test clock deviation was less than 2 seconds in the environment of -25~70℃;the firmware broadcasting upgrade technology was used to upgrade multiple single-phase electricity meters at the same time, the upgrade time was reduced to one fifth of the original time;the simple file system with low cost, high reliability, easy implementation and easy maintenance were adopted to realize automatic maintenance of storage data format. To avoid losing parameters and data. The design ensures that the clock accuracy is not affected by environmental factors, the upgrading efficiency is greatly improved, and the workload of on-site maintenance is greatly reduced.
