Coriolis Flowmeter with Extra-high Pressure for Hydrogen Dispenser

Abstract  According to the technical specifications of flowmeter in hydrogen dispenser for fuel cell vehicle (FCV), the Coriolis Flowmeter suitable to high pressure gas filling was developed. Taking CA004 flowmeter with resistance to pressure 120 MPa as an example, the developing process and the characteristics of this type of flowmeter were introduced, from aspects such as setting of internal diameter of metering tube, choice of double loop, geometry design of metering tube, verification of various vibration mode of metering tube, structure of laminated tube for connector, material choice of metering tube and its strength calculation. The results of instrument error, pressure and temperature dependence experiments show that, the flowmeter meets the requirement of hydrogen filling with precision ±1%,therefore, it can be used in hydrogen dispenser for flow metering.
