Abstract Cadmium in immersion solution of ceramic cartridge faucets was measured by ICP-MS. Established the mathematical model, according to JJF 1059.1—2012 "Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement". Analyzed and assessed the sources of uncertainty affecting factors, calculated the combined uncertainty and expanded uncertainty. The result showed that: when the Cadmium in immersion solution is 7.622μg/L and the confidence probability is 95%, the relative uncertainty is 3.2%;the greatest affecting factor is the standard curve fitting and the least affecting factor is the preparing of standard solution.
