Abstract In the measurement of gas-liquid two-phase fluid, the Coriolismass flowmeter (CMF) measurement stability of the flow meter gradually deteriorated with the gas content increases. A method based on the fluid-solid coupling finite element technique has been developed for the modal analysis and fluid-solid coupling vibration analysis of the gas-fluid two-phase flow in Coriolis flowmeter. As an example, this method is used to simulate the effect of bubble content and distribution on measurement stability. The variation law of measurement stability has been preliminary mastered, that the measurement is relatively stable with a bubble content of 1%, and over 5% the stability changes rapidly.
