Research on High Rotational Speed Standard Device |

Abstract The high rotational speed standard device based on brushless DC coreless micro motor and FPGA technology for high-accuracy rotational speed control was investigated and established,with resolution of 1 r/min in the measurement range of 30 000 r/min to 100 000 r/min. The expanded calibration uncertainty of this standard device is 1×10-5, k=3. The structure of the device and key technology involved were described. The dual closed-loop control solution was explained.The calibration results were provided. This high rotational speed standard device is used as an important working standard for the feasible traceability of high-precision optical tachometers and rotational speed measuring instruments at measurement range above 30 000 r/min.
