Abstract  Thermal conductivity of foam glass in the condition of different relative humidity is measured via transient plane source method. The results show that thermal conductivity of specimens hardly change with environment humidity in the condition of lower relative humidity. In the condition of higher relative humidity, thermal conductivity of specimens is shown to rise with increasing the relative humidity, and compared with low humidity, the thermal conductivity is increased by nearly 1.5% at most. Besides, it is shown that the inhomogeneity of foam glass lead to different region with different thermal conductivity, the maximum difference can reach to 8.8%.
