Abstract  A deformable Lorenz chaos detection system is proposed. The system has two kinds of states, chaotic state and class periodic state.Approximate periodic solutions of the systems is deduced from the average method.Deformable Lorenz system and state feedback control are used together to detect the frequency of weak signal.Deformable Lorenz system is controlled to critical state from chaotic state to class periodic state. The method of spectrum analysis is used to measure the frequency of the detected signal.Simulation experiment shows this method has higher detection precision. Finally, the frequencies to different frequency weak sine signals and non-sine signals are detected, the results show that the system is feasible and effective.
