Radiance Temperature Characteristics on Wavelength of Tungsten Strip Lamps and Relationship with Lamp Structures |

Abstract The wavelength correction for radiance temperature is often occurred in the realization, dissemination, and international comparison of the International Temperature Scale of 1990. The relation of the structures and the dependences of radiance temperature on wavelength of tungsten strip lamps is discussed. The derivative of the radiance temperature with wavelength for the T type tungsten strip lamp in 400~1 100 nm is calculated, and tests are carried out for a set of large wavelength interval corrections with the experimental data. The result is helpful to improve the radiance temperature correction and extend the spectral range of the applications of tungsten strip lamps.
