Study of Three-dimensional Image Reconstruction for Electrical Capacitance Tomography |

Abstract Simulation research of three-dimensional image reconstruction for electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) was carried out. First, the three-dimensional sensor model of ECT was built using COMSOL software. After that, based on the high accurate solution of finite element method by COMSOL, the sensitivity matrix of ECT was calculated. Secondly, image reconstruction based on linear back-projection (LBP) and Landweber iterative algorithm was realized with MATLAB programming and then the three-dimensional images were obtained by image display program. Finally, image reconstruction was carried out for the sphere and cylinder models and the satisfying results can be obtained.
