Abstract Atmospheric greenhouse-gas detection LIDAR is an important method for remote detection of greenhouse gases, and the LIDAR detection technology and calibration methods have become the focus research on greenhouse gas detection. The development and application of the technology and calibration method of atmospheric LIDAR for gas detection are introduced, and the prospects of atmospheric detection LIDAR in the future are described.
