Abstract  The weighing principle of the shearing force sensor is explained, and the way to stick the strain gage and the direction of the metal gate by theoretical computation are decided. The assembling stress can be calculated through the finite element analysis software, and then the strain area of the elastomer is known. The deformation of the elastomer with differdent interference and contact area is gotten so that the effect of preloading on the sensor can be sure.
