Abstract According to the changes in temperature and other parameters in the marine environment, combined with the characteristic of measuring temperature of the seafloor heat flow,the influence factors on the accuracy of seafloor thermometer and its calibration method are studied.According to the laboratory calibration data of the conductivity, temperature and depth instrument to amend the zero and temperature drift of the thermometer, and compared with the data in situ testing of the seafloor thermometer, marine experimental results show that the measurement error could be maintained at less than ±0.002℃ in the range of -2℃ to +32℃ by this method.
