Abstract:The quantization error is an important factor when the fundamental component of the staircase waveform generated by DAC is applied in precision measurement. Based on the perfect converting, the impact of this kind of the quantization error is analyzed, and compensation for lower uncertainty is proposed. An experiment is reported to check the possibility and effect of the compensation. The characteristics of this quantization error are presented.
