Abstract:The several technical problems such as the measurement distance,aiming method and additional aperture in the calibration of working radiation thermometer are discussed. A method for determining measurement distance is presented, which is according to the maximization and minimization principles of measurement signals in different test temperatures.Two aiming methods are compared and analyzed, and the correlative conclusion is that the method of targeting the bottom cavity is of greater reliability and accuracy.In addition, for the radiation source size effect (SSE), the temperature correction formula generated by SSE is given.
