Abstract:Radiation environmental monitoring is an important part of ensuring radiation safety and public health. The high-pressure ionization chamber is usually used for radiation environment monitoring, and the five most common high-pressure ionization chambers in the domestic nuclear instrument market are selected for systematic experimental research. Experiments were conducted on its effective range, relative inherent error, energy response, overload characteristics, high and low temperature response, and vibration response. The research results show that the five high-pressure ionization chambers selected in the experiment can meet the needs of radiation monitoring. It can provide reference for nuclear instrument development unit.
