Abstract:The short pulse E-field standard facility based on monocone was developed. The inter-laboratory comparison between Northwest Institute of Nuclear Technology, All-Russian Research Institute for Optophysical Measurements and Department of Engineering Physics of Tsinghua University were held in China and Russia which aim to verify the veracity of the standard facility. The equivalent area of transfer standard (D-dot) was calibrated in three standard facilities. Test results show that the waveforms of the D-dot sensor measured in the three laboratories are consistent with the excitation waveforms at the given position of α=70°, r=0.6m in monocone, and the difference of the effective area of the sensor is less than 2%. The comparison results verify that the monocone generates short electromagnetic pulse standard field and can be used for antenna time-domain calibration.
