Abstract:As the temperature uniformity of the heat pipe will deteriorate when it is inclined, a Cu-R134a blackbody source heat pipe with advanced structure has been tested to investigate the influence of inclined angle, operating temperature and filling ratio on the temperature uniformity of the heat pipe. The regional temperature standard deviation was proposed as the heat pipe temperature uniformity metrics. It was found that when the inclined angle was less than 45°, the inclined angle have little influence on the uniformity of temperature field. And the temperature uniformity got worse when operating temperature increased. When the operating temperature was between 40 ~ 50 ℃, the temperature uniformity of the heat pipe changed little with the filling ratio.
