Abstract:A kind of displacement monitoring system based on coded cable / encoder is proposed. In this system coded cables lay near the mid-segment of the mine, and two coding cables are connected with multi-core cable. When the mine hoisting container is going to stop, the system can realize high-accuracy detection of displacement of the mine hoisting container. The encoder is used in whole process and the data of the both are referenced to each other. The design of hardware and software systems are introduced. The experimental results show that the displacement monitoring system designed can ensure the displacement detection error of mine hoisting container is less than 6mm while crawling and parking will improve the system reliability and security and create a very good condition for the ultra deep mine mining.
