Abstract:Exosomes are tiny vesicles secreted by cells, which contain important biologically active substances such as proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. As an important carrier of cell-to-cell communication, exosomes directly participate in the occurrence and development of tumors in the body, and by affecting the tumor microenvironment, they mediate the growth and migration of tumor cells. Due to the special physiological functions of exosomes, in recent years, there has been an increasing number of studies using them as treatment vectors and biomarkers for major diseases, and the detection methods for exosomes have also been continuously developed. A systematic review was conducted on the recent research of the biological functions and detection of exosomes from tumor cells, and the development trend of detection methods was prospected.
