Abstract:During the process of image reconstruction for electrical capacitance tomography technology, a hybrid normalization model of capacitance measurements is presented to obtain better describe of the permittivity distribution of the two-phase or multiphase media. The weight factor used in the presented hybrid normalization model is calculated based on the ratio of the minimum distance to the maximum distance between the subdivision element and electric field center line. And then, the corresponding sensitivity matrix is computed. Simulation and static test are carried out and the results show that both the accuracy and the shape fidelity can be improved obviously.
