Abstract:To meet the measurement demand of the volume of weights for high accuracy measuring weights, an acoustic volumeter system of weights is developed by using acoustic theory. A practical procedure of measuring the volume of weights ranging from 10 g to 100 g using an acoustic volumeter is proposed. The volumes obtained using an acoustic volumeter were compared with the results obtained by the hydrostatic, and the relative error lower than 8.3×10-4 s acquired. The relative expanded uncertainty of system is lower than 4.3×10-4.
