Research on the Construction and Reproducibility of the Co-C HTFP for Thermocouple Calibration

Abstract:The method of construction of Co-C high temperature fixed point for thermometer calibration and the testing results of reproducibility with thermocouple at National Institute of Metrology of China are introduced.The experimental data show that the reproducibility of melting point of Co-C cell is 0.03 ℃ using Pt/Pt thermocouple, and the cell is robust after 110 melting and freezing cycles with 500 h above 1300 ℃.
