Abstract:In the technical framework of unsharp masking method, an image detail enhancement method which based on the guided filter and γ transformation was proposed. A new type of filter type architecture is designed, and use VHDL language in hardware platform of CYCLONE Ⅲ for the project implementation. The logic and memory resource of the core processor accounted for 15% and 40% respectively. With a 100MHz master clock, processing latency less than 300μs and using the low-end processors can meet the engineering requirements. Experiments successfully approved the proposed algorithm has good results in detail enhancement.
