Abstract:In order to improve the short and mid-term stability of Rubidium atomic frequency standard, some effective improvement has been done, including optimization of lamp oscillation circuit and optical detection circuit which results in reducing the circuit noise, the optimal operating temperature of the filter and absorption cell which is very useful to reduce the light shift and temperature coefficient. Frequency stability of 7×10-13/1 s and 7×10-15/104 s has been obtained.
